This company bought out Climate Care of Flower Mound, TX. Never received my work order yet. Young techs try to up-sell services, that’s annoying as a customer!!! Give that routine up and concentrate on the best service you can provide. We sure miss Mike from Climate Care.

On arrival left pricing to insulate the drain lines and add a ptrap, technically the system is grandfathered in due to the unit being 10 years old. All other checks are good at this time. Left pricing customer will reach out if they are intrepid in moving forward.

Master bedroom unit leaking refrigerant from indoor evaporator coil. Air handler from 2016 still under manufacture warranty. Gave homeowner options on how to proceed. Leaving as is for now. Would recommend not running that unit on low refrigerant to preserve the compressor. Will sleep on it and possibly call me back over the weekend with decision.

Upon further inspection. Condenser coil is not leaking. The refrigerant leak is at the 1/2” line exiting the compressor. Refer to photos and videos. 70/7.5 mfd capacitor is below tolerance on the HERM side. Compressor read good from megohmeter check. Will talk to managers on next steps.

When I arrived the system was not receiving 240 volts outside. The breaker is only sending a 110 and I am not receiving that full voltage outside at the Disconcerted. I do not have a breaker to replace to further test. Recommend customer calling an electrician to replace breaker and verifying integrity of lines and wall.

Preformed system maintenance on two systems with climate care discount. The newer American standard has good refrigerant charge and temperature split at the supply and return vents. All electricals are in normal operating range and the system is running smoothly and efficiently. The older trane unit also has good refrigerant charge and temperature split. Its electricals are in normal operating range, though are on the higher end of the scale. Thos is nothing to worry about now but is the 19 year old system showing its age and not running at top efficiency. I also spoke with the homeowner about a lack of float switch on the older unit aswell as a blow out access. Aswell as one room not cooling as effectively on the system.

Diagnose a faulty hot service igniter. Before I installed it I informed Paul that the part was $345. He stated that he found it online at Amazon for $40. He decided to just pay the diagnostic today
