Attempted to get the 400 sensor on the 824 T stat. Spoke with train technical support and also a factory worker about the issue. No one seems to know why it won't find the temperature of the eye to run. Thomas Kluger recommended the front 830 thermostat. Russ will order a notify Manuel as soon as it comes in

No heat due to air in the lines from gas leak. Purged air and system is functioning properly at this time.

Jason D.
Replaced thermostat and system is working correctly at this time.

Jason D.
System is not communicating at all. Tested continuity on wires but I think wires going outside have lost connection or its a bad thermostat. Customer has my portable heater and ill head back tomorrow to confirm. Can confirm. Customer has no heat.

Cole K.
System working properly in heat mode at this time. Cleanfx filter is had been disable but was covered in paint overspray. Return plenum was dirty and supply has bacteria growth in the plenum. System uses R-22 refrigerant. I would recommend replacing the ductwork since it’s original hard pipe and the insulation is falling off. I would also recommend replacing the system rather that replacing pieces due to its age.

Refrigerant level good at this time. Test capacitors and contactors. Wash condenser coil. System operating at manufacturer specs at this time.

No heat again. Upon arrival breaker was tripped inside. I reset and went to the roof to find Transformer was no good. Also found contactor to be defective. Circuit board we installed in November 2019 is also defective due to the blower motor being bad. I recommended then that the blower motor be replaced. 24 volts goes through the blower motor. Qoute for blower motor, disconnect, contractors.

Joel S.
Breaker tripped on air handler. Reset and system came bk on and operating properly. No charge maintenance done on Wednesday

No carbon monoxide or gas leak detected in home. Tightened all wire connections. Test thermostat for proper operation. System operating at manufacturer specs at this time.

All systems working properly in heat mode at this time. I would Recommendations: 1. Adding surge protection to MB and upstairs systems. 2. Adding an attic tent to the access for the two systems for the first floor. 3. Replacing old grey flex duct and metal duct, or at least a duct cleaning since the ductwork is original.

Joel S.
Heating performance times one system. Change out filter client supplied. Inspect blower, evaporator. Check heat exchanger for cracks found none. No gas leak or carbon monoxide detected in home at this time. Update thermostat free of charge. Tightened all wire connections. Test thermostat for proper operations. System operating at manufacturer specs at this time.

Cole K.
Thermostat short cycling. Found the delta to be set too low so I adjusted. If the issues continues we’ll need to replace contractor. If issue happens within the next couple days only charge for contractor no diagnostic.

Jason D.
Heat checkup on trane we installed. Gas checked and all setting checked. Filter was changed. Recommendations were to increase the return by any means possible. Everything operating at manufacturer specs at this time.

Cole K.
During heat maintenance I got 12PPM of carbon monoxide coming out of the supply register in the bathroom next to the attic access. The hot surface igniter has a high resistance and is about to fail.. I had to disable the heating function of this system until the homeowners choose a remedy for the carbon monoxide issue. The cost of replacing the heat exchanger under warranty is $1,500. I would also recommend a duct cleaning due to dirty ductwork and also recommend adding some attic insulation to create a more efficient heating and cooling system.

Joel S.
No heat on rooftop unit. Found blower motor without a belt. The belt had come off and shredded. Replaced with belt client had inside the unit. Blower is running constantly for some reason. I tried to call Carrier support but had no luck today. I will try again tomorrow for a future time to come over and rectify problem. Cycle Heat to verify heater is operating properly at this time.
