We had AC Pros out to check our HVAC systems since we knew there was something wrong. We had used another company 4 months prior for a winter check up and were told we needed Freon and a control board. We paid $1200 for that visit and our system has not worked right since then . Decided to use someone from the Good Contractors List. AC Pros was the first company on the list. Jason, the tech came that day. All I can say is that the minute he walked in I could tell we called the right place. Apparently the previous company had put in too much Freon ..the pressure was 4x’s the amount that was needed thank goodness the units were still working. Had we waited any longer we would probably be installing 2 new units. Jason explained how a heat pump works and why the heat was blowing cold air constantly due to what the previous technician did. When you need an HVAC company it’s kind of like a car mechanic, you’re at their mercy. I cannot begin to tell you how happy I am to have found this company and Jason. Our heat is blowing warm air now and not running constantly. We signed up for the yearly maintenance plan. Thank you AC Pros and thank you Jason!

Thermostat was reprogrammed so the upstairs unit was voting and could use the thermostat independently. As it stands customer is heating and cooking in less than 5 min and stated both electric bill and humidity remain extremely high. Blower speed was lowered and customer was made aware that both thermostats are being blown on by supply air. Recommendations are to change the 3 registers, change the lights which are radiating heat down on the thermostats, add a room sensor to the upstairs in the babies room and add insulation in the attic to help keep the rooms at the desired temperature so the system doesn't start and stop so much. No charge due to us being out less than 2 weeks to program the thermostat.

Advise Harold that it is the beginning of the end for the furnaces. Both systems are admitting 2 to 3 ppm carbon monoxide in second stage only. Harold has new carbon monoxide detectors to install.

I advised Janet that in second stage it is emitting 2 to 3 ppm carbon monoxide. I disabled second stage since this is the stage I found carbon monoxide in. I advised Janet that it’s the beginning of the end for her furnace.

Arrived to find system running in AUX heat but heat pump not coming on. High pressure lockout was the code board was giving. Power was killed to the unit in order to reset the hard lockout and system was started. Immediately the reversing valve and compressor could be heard struggling and pressures quickly rose on the high side to its over limit point and it shut down. 1 lb of 410a was recovered and system was started again this time it took longer but within 5 min system shut off again indicating overcharge. 1.5 lbs was recovered this time and systems stayed on with high side pressured running in the high 400s. Both video and pressures will be attached to the invoice. Customer elected to go with maintenance and on that visit further diagnostic will be done to see what all may have been damaged due to the system being overcharged. Both systems are lacking armor flex on the suction line, liquid line had kink and contactor had heavy pitting. Also Both low voltage lines aren't covered i

System is giving an err code 26 at thermostat but the furnace shows mo alerts or errors . Temp rise is normal and (98% furnace) the exhaust pvc is not clogged and unit is still heating and even when err message is displayed it still heats . Trane rep is gunna get back to me so customer is fine to wait so we find and fix the correct diag .
