Also a resecured thermostat to the wall better check outdoor unit. I found refrigerant level to be good at this time. Run capacitor was rated for 70 µF. Perform 2 system maintenance washed condenser coils checked refrigerant levels and split. Tested capacitors and contractors. Checked amps on compressor both systems cooling properly. Changed customer supplied filters. Downstairs filter size is 20x25x4 & upstairs filter size is 16x25x4. Customer had retaining wall down and wanted me to checked the level of condenser and if any damage was done. Due to the retaining wall being done both systems need to be lifted at least 4 inches of the ground. Due to being that much to lightly safely and properly we need to pump down system. Cut copper lines vacuum and release charge customer wants a quote on this work

Upon arrival I turned thermostat to heat. Looked outside and condenser fan motor was not spinning. Also noticed the indoor blower is not operating. It has a blown 10 µF run capacitor. Today I am unable to do a complete inspection because the system will not turn on. The outdoor unit is requiring a new capacitor as well. Prices for each of the capacitors are in the invoice. When the prices that I left today are agreed-upon I will return and do a complete check of the system.

Call back from Jeff doing the maintenance yesterday. Dawn indicated that her emergency heat wasn’t operating properly and Jeff had tinkered with it yesterday. Nothing is wrong with the equipment. The thermostat will not bring the heat strips on every single time. I’ve blew a lot of dust out of it and that could have been hindering those small contacts from closing and making the thermostat operate properly. I do not have any other thermostats on my truck other wiFi. I will pick up a heat pump thermostat tomorrow and return to put it on.

Jeff S.
