I’ve done to expect “above and beyond” service with AC Pros and this was no exception. Mr. Schmitt checked over our whole system, explaining what he was looking for and why. Helped figure out a couple of minor issues and ordered a preventative maintenance part. Called before technicians came out to ask about cost and service. I have R22 freon and was quoted between $100.00-$150.00 per pound with no service fee by a young lady who answered the phone (didn't get her name). I agreed and scheduled for them to come out. The guys came and talked about what's going (possible leak in system). I rent my spot and the landlord will not pay for any repairs, (small business owner here). Both guys took around 10 -15 minutes inspecting the unit with NO visible equipment and came back with a quote of $2296.70!!! WTH!!! $569.07 for 1st pound with $517.53 for an additional 3 pounds of R22 Freon!!!!!! This is CRAZY!!! SCAM. Then proceeded to try an upsell me a whole new unit for over $15,000.00!!!! I kept my cool and informed them I was not told of this and refused anymore service. They billed me for a service fee of $120.00 WHAT!!! All for a 10-15 minute glance and 4 pictures they took of the unit outside, which is on the ground and easily accessible. SCAM SCAM SCAM!!!! I had a coupon for $50.00 off and they were hesitant to apply it but, eventually did and I paid $79.90 for them to look at it and tell me what I already knew!! The old company I used sold the business and retired and this SCAM of a company took over the accounts. PLEASE whoever reads this - DO NOT-I REPEAT-DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Google the reviews, looks like I'm not the only one who has gone through something similar. DO NOT-I REPEAT-DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. DO NOT-I REPEAT-DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Call heater tune up one system gas furnace. Upon arrival the system was turned on in heat mode and tested. The blower motor, blower capacitor, heat exchanger, burners, flame sensor, hot surface igniter, furnace safeties, vent system, gas lines, filter, and electrical connections for all inspected. The filter was checked and is in good shape at this time. The air conditioning was also given a basic checkup. The refrigerant charge, and electrical components were checked and are in good condition. And a 20° temperature differential was found across the evaporator coil. The system is both heating and cooling properly at this time.

Heat performance tuneup times one system. Filter was good. Circuitboard is showing signs of failure. I am leaving an estimate in case that does happen this winter. Other recommendations today are a 4 inch filter rack and duct cleaning. System is 15 years old. It is, still safe to operate, but given its age, I recommend replacement within two years.

Fall heater maintenance one system dual fuel. Upon arrival the system was turned on in emergency heat mode and the furnace was tested. The blower motor, heat exchanger, burners, flame sensor, hot surface igniter, inducer capacitor, vent system, gas lines, and electrical connections are all inspected. The system was then turned on in regular heat mode and the heat pump was inspected and the charge was checked. The filter in the system is clean at this time. The system is heating properly in both modes at this time.

The capacitor, fan motor, compressor, condenser coil, defrost controls, and electrical connections were inspected. The system was tested in defrost mode and operated as it should. The refrigerant charge was also checked in cooling mode and the condenser was washed. The system is heating properly at this time.

Call back on recently serviced equipment. Arrived to find thermostat lit up and making the call for the heat to come on. The furnace had cycled off because of multiple retry in one cycle. Unit is working sporadically. It is a 10 year-old Goodman 95% furnace. It is an upflow in a closet outside. The circuit board is the suspect for the call for no heat. I’m monitored it and saying that it lost power to the circuit board after a certain amount of runtime.

No heat or ac. Upon arrival the system was turned on in heat mode and was not responsive. The low voltage fuse on the air handler control board was found to have been blown. A new fuse was installed and a low voltage short was followed to the first stage contactor in the heat kit. The contactor was replaced and the unit was turned on in heat mode and was heating. The second stage contactor was then noticed to be unresponsive when voltage was applied and was also replaced. The system was then tested in both stages of heating and is heating properly at this time.

Homeowners stated that downstairs unit will operate intermittently with system in off mode. Downstairs unit has a Aprilaire ventilation system installed that causes the blower motor to cycle on. System is operating as designed. Collected $95 by Visa for diagnostic

Blower fan constantly running. The blower motor was found to have a bad control module. The blower motor was replaced with one under warranty. The system was then tested and is operating properly at this time.

Preformed the fall maintenance on the 2 systems. Found all checks to be within range. Filters need to be replaced and will be done in the spring. No carbon monoxide or gad leaks at this time.

During the inspection the filters in the filter grills were noticed to be improperly sized and partially blocking the return. It is recommended that the filters be replaced with properly sized filters. Both systems are heating properly at this time.

Performed one system gas maintenace on 2015 Goodman furnace. 80% furnace with ECM motor. Cleaned flame sensor. Proper amp draws on inducer motor And blower motor. No issues with sequence of operation. Replace customer supplied air filter.

Preformed the fall maintenance on the system. Found the system in operational condition. The insulation for the air handler is tearing apart. Most amp draws are above specifications. Lots of signs of rust and derbis in the system. True suction is lower than expected. Notified the customer of all this and they would like to wait and monitor the system too see how long it will last due to the system being 14 years old.

Preformed the maintenance on the furnace from 2006, the furnace is operating at this time. Found the heat exchanger to have multiple rust spots and debris on them which will become cracks eventually. Found the thermal sensor to be finicky and nearing replacement. Recommend the customer to consider furnace replacement at some point.

Heat performance tuneup times one system. Client changes her own filter inside the condition space. Inspect blower, evaporator and ductwork. Test all safety features high limits and rollouts. Check heat exchanges for cracks. System is producing 2 ppm coming right off the unit. That is not dangerous but the system is 20 years old. My recommendation today is to change out the system before it decides to fail itself. My number is 469-631-8256.
