5 year old American standard 4 ton single stage heat pump system is cooling properly. No issues to report. Filter was still clean and condenser coil was washed out.

Found leak in the accumulator. Customer will order the part and wants us to install it. They know it's gonna be roughly 2300..

Systems are checking out fine. No issues. Replaced filters and washed condenser coils.

Performed one system cooling maintenance. Homeowners had pre paid with Montgomery. System will have trouble cooling this summer due to the delta T being 14 degrees. Confirmed refrigerant leak with James in the attic. Left him with replacement options. Applied membership pricing, 5% senior and 5% veteran discounts. Also used a $1000 off coupon from Montgomery merge mailer. Homeowner has a busy rest of this week and will ponder on equipment selection.

One system checkup on new trane we installed. Only issues found were with registers being turned the wrong way which was corrected. Customer is unhappy with her halo and I'll get with Russ on possible solutions. Can confirm ac us running at this time. 18 degree temp split

Dispatch for a no heat single system home. Arrived to find system not running. I asked Elizabeth to turn on the heater. I then had to go back in and turn on. Verified refrigerant charge was good. Condenser coil was impacted. Washed out with water hose. Windows are the main cause that the heater won’t keep up. Single pane windows with little or no caulking allowing cold air to infiltrate the home.

Heat performance tuneup times two systems. Filters are good at this time. Inspect blowers, evaporators and ductwork. Test all safety features high limits and roll outs. Check heat exchangers for cracks found none. No gas leaks or carbon monoxide detected in home. Systems are operating at manufacture specs at this time.

Found bad capacitor causing condenser not to run. I replaced capacitor with a turbo 40/5 and system is cooling with a 18 degree split .

Cleared drain line , fixed wiring for float switch and replaced a filter 20x20x4

Joel S.
Post install walkthrough on recently installed equipment. Verified and cleared primary drain and it is Flowing properly now. Check outdoor unit. Refrigerant level is good at this time. T stat being blank was due to the inline float switch interrupting power because the drain was clogged. System is working at manufacture specs at this time. I left and 8:50 thermostat because Kevin wanted to have his original thermostat until it no longer worked.

Downstairs Two Step compressor is failing. Compressor tries to come on but even though it has a brand new run capacitor and brand new hard start kit it will not stay running. It will start and then stop within 1 to 2 seconds. System is out of warranty. This compressor is a two-stage called a two-step compressor. We will check availability on the compressor in the morning as well as a quote for a new condenser.

Check thermostat for proper operations. Check outdoor unit. Refrigerant level is good at this time. System is R22. System is almost 17 years old. Washed condenser coil. Tested capacitor and contactor. System is cooling properly at this time. Recommendation today is to change out this system by next year.
