Post install walkthrough on recently installed equipment. Verified and cleared primary drain and it is Flowing properly now. Check outdoor unit. Refrigerant level is good at this time. T stat being blank was due to the inline float switch interrupting power because the drain was clogged. System is working at manufacture specs at this time. I left and 8:50 thermostat because Kevin wanted to have his original thermostat until it no longer worked.

Downstairs Two Step compressor is failing. Compressor tries to come on but even though it has a brand new run capacitor and brand new hard start kit it will not stay running. It will start and then stop within 1 to 2 seconds. System is out of warranty. This compressor is a two-stage called a two-step compressor. We will check availability on the compressor in the morning as well as a quote for a new condenser.
