Blower, ignitor, flame sensors all checked. Airflow condensate drain line pitch and registers are alla concern. Thermostat should be upgraded and attic should be installed given the thermostat placement. Can confirm heat is running at this time
Both systems working properly in heat mode at this time. The upstairs system is 17 years old and is showing 6ppm of carbon monoxide. I would recommend replacing this system. I would also recommend adding surge protection to the downstairs system.
Mastic sealed all boots and replaced 2
Heat performance turn up times one system. Change out filter client supplied. Inspect blower, evaporator and ductwork. Test all safety features High limits and roll outs. Best thermostat for proper operation. Tightened all wire connections. Check heat exchanger for cracks found none. No carbon monoxide a gas leak detected in home. Found two boots that need to be replaced. And the other boots need to be sealed. Leaving quote for that. System is operating at manufacturer specs at this time.
Changed filters and assessed airflow issues. The correction was explained to the customer along with other things like lack of insulation. Will.send send or go back to give quote on the cost. Can confirm heat is running at this time. Will grab payment on next visit for today's charge
Found sensor was bad and needs to be replaced. Price for updated thermostat was given that comes with remote sensor. Can confirm heat is working just has to be manually turned on
Drain lines, registers replacement, thermostat upgrade and attic insulation are recommended. Blower, ignitor, flame sensors all within range. Can confirm heat is running at this time
System components all look good with blower amps, ignitor ohms , etc all within spec. Airflow is a huge concern as half of the house has closed vents and incorrect registers. Customer was walked thru some of the challenges he faces with having sidewall registers in the ceiling and some tips to help combat those issues. Airflow was adjusted on the upstairs unit. Estinates were left for the drain lines, attic tent, and CDA for the downstairs. Can confirm heat is running at this time on all 3 units.
A series 824 thermostat is using an energy saving mode. This particular thermostat should not have that ability. I spoke with Devoe and he contacted Trane Factory. We are awaiting news from an engineer to find out why this thermostat is going into energy saving mode at night and losing Heat.
No airflow to master bath. It seems like a duct was never put back on uninstall. Will need installers to come back to get back behind unit to see if one of the Ducts did not get hooked up. I could not fit
Post i stall walk thru on 18 seer trane we installed to check on reason for sudden rise in gas bill. All gas pipe and fitting were sprayed with micro leak detection soap and no leak was found. Thermostat did have 110 pages of high limit error codes which would cause the system not to run. Only way the hvac would cause a high gas bill is if it ran 24/7. Suggested they. All ATMOS then call us back if they find anything. The high limit error is due to lack of airflow which is being caused by high static pressure due to duct work. Each individual duct tap feeds a subplenum which has 3 to 4 supply runs on them. The duct work lays on the ground which is is the biggest contributing factor as any "waves" in flex duct adds to stic pressure. Pictures were taken of the static measurement and the unit has a max rating of .5 total static. I only measured the ductwork which is .5 in itself meaning his true static is closer to 1' w.c double the max amount set by Trane. To help I increased the blower

Maintenance on 2 trane u its we installed. Found capacitor and hsi bad on unit and both were replaced. Blower speeds were lowered and correct registers were suggested. Drain lines may need some attention in the summer. Blower checked, inducer checked, both systems operating at given specs according to their age. Can confirm heat is running on both u its at this time
Heat checkup on trane unit. All comments tested and working correctly at this time. Airflow was adjusted and lowered to a medium to help with shirt cycle times. Almost all of the registers are I correct and blowing 1/3 of the air right into the return. Would highly suggest changing those out which will dramatically increase performance and lower electric bills.
Upstairs system has a bad thermostat. Mr. Reddy would like a quote to replace both systems and ductwork. 2 1/2 ton upstairs and 5 ton downstairs.
Air Balance upstairs system. Blue Room was not getting enough air flow. I dampered down all other supplies to push mower over to that room.

Inspect blower, evaporator and ductwork. Cleaned all burners and ribbons. Change out filter Scott supplied. Test thermostat for proper operations. System heating properly at this time
All systems working properly in heat mode at this time. Main system has a weak hot surface igniter. I would also recommend a duct cleaning

Installed remote sensor. Fixed heat staging and did a post install walkthrough. Everything is properly installed, sealed, and wired. The guys did an amazing job. I showed Mr. Rocco the pictures Francisco took of the bacteria growth inside of the ducts and explained that this is beyond being able to be duct cleaned. I would recommend replacing these ducts in the future. Today is 61 degrees and raining so I was not able to add refrigerant. WE WILL NEED TO CHARGE THIS SYSTEM IN THE SPRING AT NO CHARGE.

Will need to jump w1 to w2 when tech does walk thru to engage w2 system is heating 1st stage. Due to the weather being too cold could not charge system we will need to charge the system in a warmer day. Received the wrong sensor, will need to install wireless sensor on walk thru.
